Even anecdotal evidence would have shown that the Clinton years hurt black more than whites, and the Clintons are comfortable with this. The losses of hundreds of thousands of jobs to China, India, Malaysia and Indonesia under the Clinton administration were defended under the guise of economic trade. Weakening America's ability to stay competitive with it's trading partners.
China has routinely bought up American debt in the form of bonds and investments with American banks. What does this mean to you, America owes China money to repay it's debts or bonds sold. We have become a consumer economy purchasing the majority of out imports from China. Which means that China can demand payment at any time for the bonds they have purchased if they disagree with anything that America says or does. Like a bank demanding you pay your entire 30-year mortgage today. Yet the Clinton administration ignored warnings from the CIA and NSA. I
It was through our economic might that western nations defeated the threat of communism. China has learned this lesson and has sought to use the same strategy to bring America to its knees. Did the Clinton administration focus on education so teachers have to teach your children instead of just passing them on to the next grade? -NO! Did the Clinton administration ever give you a rebate of your money? -NO!! Did you know that by April 15 you've paid all the taxes required to run the government? Did the Clinton administration make it easier for ALL Americans to start their own businesses? - NO!! Increase their standard of living? -NO!! Did they raise taxes? -Yes!! Did they penalize you for succeeding? -Yes!!
It's time for ALL Americans not just Black Americans to wake up and see that truth. The worst years in American history economically have been under the Clinton administration. Time to see them for who they really are.

Check the stats. What you'll see is that the Clinton era was one of remarkable social and economic improvements for black America. Unemployment for blacks dropped dramatically and so did the poverty rate, median incomes rose for blacks, as did incomes at every quintile. Black crime victimization rates and teen pregnancy rates plummeted.

Those are simply facts. If you'd like, you can feel free to argue that it was simply a coincidence that all these things improved so dramatically during an eight-year period exactly coinciding with the Clinton administration. You can argue that it's a coincidence that a couple decades of stagnation for black America gave way to that short, bright era of improvement just as Clinton took office. And you can argue that it's a coincidence that those years were immediately followed, starting in 2001, by another period of stagnation for black America. I suppose it's possible that it was just a wildly improbable set of coincidences. But it surely shouldn't be a surprise that most black Americans feel quite positively about Clinton, in light of how well the community did on his watch, coincidence or not.

I know it's more fun to hide out in the halls of Republican propaganda, but come on out into the real world for a moment and take a look around. The historical statistics are easily and widely available, from the Census, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the Department of Justice, and the Centers of Disease Control. Browse the historical records and look at pretty much any major socioeconomic indicator from the Clinton era and the eras preceeding and following it. What you'll see, time and again, across a wide array of statistics, is that the Clinton era was an island of dramatic improvement for black America, amidst a sea of stagnation. Out here in the real world, those are the facts you'll need to find a way to cope with.

The groundwork for the economic boom in the 90s led by the tech industry was laid before Clinton got into office. All he did was increase taxes upon blacks like myself who struggled to maintain even a modest standard of living. Middle class Americans lost jobs in the thousands as the Clinton administration made it easier for them to take manufacturing jobs overseas. Leaving us to become a service industry led or basic consumer economy. Wait, that went down that drain as service jobs are divested overseas as well. So if we don't make anything, all we can do is buy everything. You'll understand when they tell you that you're being fired because they're moving overseas. But the last assignment you have for the company is to travel abroad and teach the people who're replacing YOU!!! Remember that at that time the telecom industry deregulation occured under Clinton. Remember when 44,000 people were laid off in one week. Cities were going broke and the federal government was threatening to take over cities that couldn't pay their bills (Miami and DC) to creditors. Treasury Bills are payable upon demand. People only sell them on the open market to someone who wants the promised interest at a later date. Clinton's major promise was that he would protect social programs like welfare. But did nothing to get people off welfare. If you encourage an educational system that does not educate minds, passes them off to the next grade like cattle. The ripple effect of the rise in the tech industry paved the way for investment in the housing market that continued US economic growth. That growth made it possible for many Blacks to invest in and own their homes. Many Black millionaires were created by the expansion of the housing industry. Rule changes allowed them to secure more investment capital than was available under Clinton. But you could read your bureau of Census data and find facts that are not in evidence. Ignore the fact the Clinton administration deported more blacks than any other administration ever so they can posture and position for "BILLARY '08".
