It is an insult to my intelligence to hear people talk about Bush not caring about black people....why should he give them special treatment based on their skin color if he is the president of all americans?

Black people are individual human beings just like anybody else and should be treated as such instead of putting them all on one heap to be used as political pawns!

People who keep pointing the finger at Bush need to take a look in the mirror...because constantly reminding people of their skin color is bigotry in its most sophisticated form.

Well said, if I fail at school Bush didn't do it to me. If I keep voting the same people back in office for 2, 3, 4,... 12 terms in Congress and my economic situation hasn't changed then I might need to switch my vote. Time to get off the sidelines and vote with your wallet in mind because the politics ALWAYS follows the money. Black people in America spend over $250 Billion a year in the economy!!! And for that kind of money you want protection of handouts not a seat at the table? Or the right to sit at the head of the table? If they rounded you up because you were Black you'd complain. If they kept reminding you that you were Black you'd complain. Decide what you want and how you want to be treated. YOU DECIDE FIRST!!! But they can't complain when you're there with them every step of the way, competing, fighting, demanding your stake in America not a check in the mailbox!! Stop the victim mentality and live a victor lifestyle. Bush doesn't determine your destiny, only you can do that. Neither Bush, Cheney, Edwards, the Clintons, Jesse, Al, nor Barack controls your vote. YOU DO!! Go register to vote!! Get a state ID or a driver's license so they can't your right and Vote dammit!! Time to love yourself more than a political party that has kept generations in the same position and economic level. Vote because you love yourself more than a political party!!!!
