Screw These People...
by screwjack2007
...I thought it was good question. One I have wondered about myself since encountering an inordinate number of Eastern Europeans/Russians one summer in the deserts of Utah. Where have they been hiding them I wondered? Was it some kind of crazy experiment left over from the former Soviet Union, this beauty cache'? To demoralize the rest of the world's women? What were they feeding them? Polish, Russian, Czech, Hungarian. None of the American girls came close. It was/is a real phenomenon and a legitimate cause for inquiry, IMHO.

I can't help but crack up at how pissed off people seem about this article. I know is it "The Fray" and all, but c'mon people. The headline of the article is a question posed. You know, for fun. Am I the only one who remembers fun?

once, while I was doing my PhD, I went to school in high heels. An american female colleague asked me how can I walk on them. That it seemed incredibly difficult. I replied that in my eastern european country we take classes in how to walk on high heels...

They were hidden behind the Iron Curtain - as simple as that. If you had left the Utah deserts and traveld to the Eastern Europe you would have noticed the phenomenon much earlier.
