Don't blame Clemson and the Clemson community for Barack Obama's victory. In the communities forums I've been in, they can't stand him. However, most of student population are unhappy with any of the current candidates and opted to just "not participate". I have tried to explain that this is not a logical decision, but young adults just dont believe that they make a difference. Or that it really matters WHO is President!! They all say what they want us to hear until they get elected anyway. And Hillary worked her butt off for years after Bill was elected trying to get Universal Healthcare and she could fight the system. No candidate currently running will ever be able to change the corruption in the Government. President or not, it is still too many to one!! But please, Don't blame Clemson if Barack wins!!! We will be throwing Howards or just plain touchdowns, but no Baracks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!

Your post makes me really fear for the future of this country. Media consolidation, corrupt politicians, a moribund government concerned primarily with the needs of the wealthy, and youth who are disengaged from the system convinced "they can't change anything."
