I believe that Robin is very young. I really do remember the Clinton administration and being a gardener I remember how everyone had money enough to maintain their homes and plant so many lovely flowers. One way the Clinton's did this was to close military bases and reduce contracts of "War Machine" companies...like Halliburton. These boondoggles are known as "welfare for the rich"! No one was killed in Clinton's Bosnian war and he was able to arrest Slobodan Milosevic. Believe !
Americans across the country have had the market price of their homes devalued--- for the banks thanks to Bush and his Republican cronies. Now the banks can write off the already lowered -by-the-government property (school) taxes. The banks can claim that they have "had" to repossess homes that have depreciated... homes have been devalued by the "Tax Dept" to a lower amount than what is owed on them and with high gas prices and inflation home owners are losing their precious homes to the banks. Believe!
The devaluation was done by "the powers that be"----we didn't vote on this! We were told to go to our local library to have a "Voice". We took our number and waited. It felt as though we were in Nazi Germany. We did our little protest stating that the value that they placed on our home was unfair. They raised the value a bit to shut us up.... and then the taxes went up. We could get our own appraiser the the tax dept guy said. But we realized later when we asked our banker she said it's the comparisons of neighborhood homes and the tax evaluation that the banks go by that determines if a prospective buyer or owners trying to refinance will "qualify". So we didn't really have a choice! The County Tax Auditor's office proceedure was dictated by the State and the State by the Federal Government's powers-that-be. Homes are devalued as much as $70,000 in our neighborhood and the same goes for others in our community and nationwide." Where have all the flowers gone?" They are gone....believe it!
The Republicans will claim that the devaluation of our homes was for our benefit to lower our taxes... the middle class children who are educated by public schools will suffer as the schools fail from loss of taxes by home owners and the write offs by the Arab and other banks.....which means that they won't be paying what is really owed. Our communities will suffer more loss of value as the schools go down hill and kids cannot go to college to become productive members of society. And the winners are: Bush and his Saudi friends as he kisses them on their cheeks and holds their hands. ---- Can't he at least be man enough to say it is their custom but it is NOT OUR CUSTOM? Try to picture FDR holding hands with the Nazi's and kissing their cheeks or JFK the Russians. Bush and other Republicans are complicit...believe!
Recently, Bush, in his deal of weapons for the Saudis (bad enough) it appears he was really making the final arrangements to "sell" Citi-Bank/Countrywide--- they hold many many Americans' home mortgages--- to the Arabs. This is subversion of the highest order....our own president! He has fincanced us (sold us out) to the Chinese as well. They hold most of our country's 9 Trillion dollar debt! Neil Bush, his brother, lives in China and handles acquisitions for the banks there. Search for the truth and you will receive....believe!
The "Amnesia" may be in the younger generation who want to forget 9/11, a made up war in Iraq, 9 Trillion in US debt----as you take your baby blankets "bubbies" off to college---I think it's sweet and necessary, I guess, ---- and there some of you learn how to play "Beer Pong" and maybe experiment with drugs (as Obama said he did in his early years---is this the affinity?)... it is you who have self induced amnesia. Is this the legacy of 9/11? Please wake up and remember that 15 of the 19 terrorists on 9/11 were Saudi's and that the terroists promised that their next attack would be on our financial system and infra-structure which has already begun. What does this have to do with the Obama victory? It goes to ethics and character of what the Republicans will do. I wasn't alive back when the Republicans got together with Abe and decided that it was time to elect a populous president...Abraham Lincoln. (PBS). You didn't think that he was really a Republican did you? ...or that Republicans would really support a man by the name of Abe? Republicans asked their people and others to vote for Mondale because they had a plan to defeat him. And before that was the McGovern campaign. I received many many calls to "make sure" that I was going to vote for McGovern...I asked if they were Republicans calling and they refused to answer. Now it's Barack Obama they are "backing"...is he in on it? The upper class Republicans and "Red Neck" Republicans I know would never even talk to a black person let alone vote for one. They must truly HATE AND FEAR HILLARY to "vote" for Obama even in a primary only. Republicans are very well organized, nationallly, in their young Republican--- and older, too,--- meetings. They have Rush Limbaugh speaking their mind and the NRA no small force. {The NRA sent members to a trial in Lorain County Ohio concerning a man who had fired what looked like a sawed off shotgun at college kids who had been playing beer pong and had thrown a beer bottle at him. The NRA people---and their were many there--- claimed the stubby firearm was for hunting. They are intent on making sure that guns designed to kill people are not ruled against in court or anywhere....Hillary was for gun control but has backed off.} The Republicans and all their factions are organized to cross over vote---register as Independents or Democrats to affect the outcome of the Democrats' right to choose their own candidate. The media writers and commentators have not spoken out on cross over voting. There were, however, Republicans interviewed on TV in Iowa saying that they have already registered as Independants so that they can vote for Obama. Isn't it plain that the Republicans want to choose the Democrats' candidate? Believe!
Caroline, the Republicans plan is to defeat Obama in the general election after he is our Democratic candidate and not Hillary. They will CONTROL him if he is elected. The Republican CIA, headed by Geo.HW Bush, secretly planned the "Bay of Pigs" then blamed JFK when it failed..."Pausible Denial" by Mark Lane. They did a mock indictment of Hillary Clinton with made up White Water jazz and they set-up impeachment of Bill Clinton by paying Ken Starr and the Rutherford Institute their millions. They are pretty sure that they can defeat Obama easier than Hillary or CONTROL him later. Why do you think that on MSNBC, right after the Obama victory in SC, a commentator said he was being overwhelmed with REPUBLICAN calls, text messages and emails on his cell phone on this the DEMOCRATS Primary. BELIEVE !
