Could it be that the American body politic is finally waking up to the inherent falseness of laissez-faire and trickle-down economics?

The author touches on what I've been feeling since the Reagan years: that we've been sold a bill of goods about an oppressed wealthy class, largely because that wealthy class and their corporations control the political agenda by way of their media influence and financing of political campaigns.
