Intelligence, not Laziness
by MadnotAngry

Fred dropped out of the race, not secondary to laziness, but because even he can clearly see the writing on the wall. No way is America ever going to elect another Republican to the WH. Every minute of any Republican campaign is just wasted effort.

Millions of words, hours of angst, gallons of sweat; matters not. Hillary WILL be the next president. Period.

Keep repeating that over and over. Maybe there will be someone here stupid enough to believe it.

A Clinton nomination will leave many of us Dem-leaning independants debating as to whether we should even show up on election day. In fact, if McCain is the GOP nominee, we might even swing that direction.

In order to win, Clinton would need to win a perfect race, and the GOP nominee would need to be a dud. She has a ceiling of support of about 52%. She might pull off a narrow victory if McCain is not the nominee. On the other hand, she may not.
