Hold on, and why please?

Although I often disagree with Mr. Gross' analysis, he for once did not seem to advocate out-of-date financial instruments but instead gave a personal account of what he detected at the world's most important gathering of economic power brokers.

The USA is in trouble and has itself to blame for it. That is essentially what is going on. Unfortunately, having sold its debt in neat little chunks to the rest of the world (until that was no longer possible), the USA's cold may actually be contagious. The fact that leaders from Europe and Africa, and even Detroit, acknowledge this is a very important sign and worth reporting.

Making up your own mind about the consequences is probably next. Thankfully, we haven't had any advice from Mr. Gross yet.
