ending the race card
by firestop

This article is spot on, about the hypocrisy of the NIMBY left, and race-baiting , demagogue blacks. The country is sick of the whining of liberals and the irresponsible, unaccountable folk and causes they champion.
Blacks have been dealt a fair, and even better hand than any minority in US history.

Time to put up or shut up.Become proactive rather than reactive.

We are done with the blame game.

white guilt=BS
by TheRaven

Agreed, 100%.

Part of me hopes that Obama will be elected president, so that the country can finally set aside the ludicrous notion that whites racially persecute blacks and that the only reason that blacks don't rule the world is because whitey's been keeping them down. White guilt, a product of anti-white leftist racist media, has convinced a large proportion of innocent whites that they are in some way responsible for any and all deficiencies in the black community.

The fact is that whites have been grovelling and pandering to blacks since the 1960's, in the face of nonstop racism from the black community that continues to this day, including the use of the "race card."

Nothing like "an angry white male" rant to get your morning off to a good start, you two feel better now?
Re: white guilt=BS

here's a news flash for both of you;

I am neither angry nor guilty.

raven, you sound like the typical craigslist pseudo-intellectual, race -baiting,

redundant response clone.

I am only guilty of paying more than my fair share of city, state and federal taxes to support illegals, welfare cheats, unwed births and probably your section 8 housing.

try to think up something original and factual other than your puerile;"white guilt=BS'

Dude. Wow. You actually flamed someone who was agreeing with you (Raven). Or didn't you realize that?

Re: white guilt=BS

omg you are right! i completely misinterpreted the equation

sorry about that raven!

you are one of the good guys.

i totally mistook you for a believer in justified white guilt.

Here we go again: you guys seem to have utterly missed the point of the author's preamble. Racism exists, but there are interactions regarding race that get caught up in other struggles, your own comments included. I agree with your general points about some of the excesses of reactionary politics. However, that doesn't mean that their excesses prove that blacks by and large get a fair deal, or equal opportunity, or any of these things. Life is SO MUCH BETTER than it used to be for all racial minorities, and some of them take advantage of this, and others do not--yet that doesn't mean that everything is "fine" and there is no more work to do. Perhaps that work is often misapplied, but it still needs doing. Indeed your own comments contain within them the kind of "racism" to which some of them allude: you are so certain that the radical left is wrong, and that blacks have just as much opportunity, that ANY effort to redress the legacies of racism (actual racism notwithstanding), is seen by you as bullshit. Your ignorance on such matters is so knee-jerk it strikes others as being "racist," when it may or may not be. Here's where it is likely to reflect at least vestigial racism: insisting that you don't feel guilty for having your tax dollars subsidize welfare and out of wedlock children. Um, explain to me how that sort of stereotyping isn't racist?

Dirk, perhaps you would be better served using the word "prejudice" rather than "racist". While deliberate oppression of people based on race can be hard to prove, prejudice or pre-judgement is easy to see in hate mongers on both sides of the issue from Al Sharpton to Raven.

Yeah, those ungrateful black folks. We've really cut back on the lynchings. What the heck do they want, anyway?
