As a Democrat, I don't care if Bill Clinton...
by nerdnam

...is being a SOB for his wife. Maybe that's what we need in the fall: someone who will be a SOB for the Democrats. And if Hillary wins, Bill can be an SOB for the country. And I think a lot of Democrats feel that way and so I don't think Bill's "outbursts" are hurting his wife in any way.

As I have stated before, Obama's mistake is to think he can be nominated by the Democratic party without actually being a Democrat. He would have been better advised to run as a "Mr. Democrat," as someone to defend and stand up for the Democratic party. He is right to say that Bill Clinton was not a leader in the sense that Ronald Reagan was, but what Democrats want is a Democratic leader, not some mutant cross between the parties or a middle of the roader.

As an independent, I do care and after sitting on the fence until now, I decided that I will not vote for her.

Bill Clinton is an excellent politician. Just what we need next fall. As a Democrat I care what Bill Clinton does, and I approve.

I have convinced many of my friends to vote for her, Go Hillary.

Yes, many (most? all?) Democrats are as mad as hell and not willing to take it anymore--from the GOP or from "unity at all costs" crowd who treat Obama like the Tom Jones of politics.

(They do everything but throw their panties at him, although I don't want to give anyone ideas...!)

You can be sure: if Obama wins the nomination, Bill will be out there being an SOB for him, too.

That's what Bill does best, be a SOB. He may be an SOB but he's our SOB.

I've said it before: these people run to get elected. Obama can pretend he's beyond race. Hillary can send Bill door to door in SC.

It's calling CAMPAIGNING.

I hope that you did it in a nicer manner than the Hillary's supporters I watched at the caucus yesterday. Those were some mean women that plain lied about Obama's positions while trying to convince Edwards supporters to join them. It didn't work on the Edwards supporters and further cemented my inclination not to vote for her.

Bill Clinton is not running for President, nor can he. He has had his two constitutional terms.

Yeah, partisanship, we need more of it. That'll really play well with Republicans eager to engage in the same "gotcha!" games Democrats have been playing these past seven years.....

Democrats have two choices: we can either be 'partisan' or we can give in to the demands of the Republicans--and then STILL lose elections and STILL be slandered as traitors.

If you want 'bi-partisanship,' then you have to allow BOTH parties to stand for what they stand for. Otherwise all you get is 'mono-partisanship.'

This is supposed to be a competitive, adversarial political system. It doesn't work when one party gets its way all the time, which is what we've have for the past twenty or thirty years.

So now who's whining about "mean women"? It's OK if Obama's operatives attack her for him, but if her supporters attack openly, then they are mean women? I think this whole line of discussion drives the debate down to a bitch mentality. Depends on what type of bitch you like, I guess. I always went for the up front ones instead of the behind the back ones.

Putting Oprah up front to be his bitch is just plain tacky, because he does not want to reveal his true bitch self. The fact that his audience loves the bitch nastiness just shows what it's all about. What's behind male arrogance is a sense of entitlement; he doesn't want to dirty his hands with a woman's job I guess.
