I've had two kids, changed 99.9% of the diapers, did 99.9% of the breastfeedings (I pumped) and was still totally sympathetic to my DH's trepidations about the procedure. Knowing that you're never going to have kids again was a double-edged sword for both of us, but the side that weighed towards having more kids was definitely sharper!
