I had little sympathy. I've been through pregnancy and the stress of 9 months of waiting and feeling your body distort ended by 9 hours of excrutiating pain..... Sorry, just can't work up an ounce of sympathy. On the other hand, I can work up a great deal of gratitude for guys like this.

I could never do this. What if there were a nuclear war and I was stuck on a desert island with a bunch of supermodels and was personally responsible for repopulating the earth? I would NOT want to have to explain my vasectomy to them.
