Assumptions
by airisfree

Plotz makes several assumptions that have no base in reality.

First, he talks about King David's palace and the assumption that the water channels found there were the ones David used to attack the city. Not once does he mention the original inhabitants that built the city, the Canaanites. So the palace was not David's palace, but the palace of the Canaanites, that David supposedly stole from them. Just like the current Israelis are stealing land from the Palestinians.

The second assumption he makes is that he is the descendant of those long gone Israelites. But the fact is, Ashkenazi Jews have very little connection to those ancient Jews. Ashkenazi Jews are more closely related to Eastern Europeans than the semitic Jews. So they really have no claim to the land over the native Palestinians.

"Assumptions" makes some stunningly unsupported assumptions about the ancestral links between Ashkenazi Jews and their forebears.

Care to cite your scholarly credentials for making such a totally bizarre statement?

Your DNA evidence?

Etc.

It is true that there was a certain amount of rape by non-Jews, over the centuries, your blanket assertion cannot be supported scientifically.
