1.)First Mr Wu, this not the 122 year old AT&T per se, but the old SBC Communications, nee Southwestern Bell, that bought out the tired almost dead AT&T and any other Baby Bell that Verizon, nee GTE and RBOC Bell Atlantic, hasn't gobbled up. The only thing about the old AT&T that survived is the name.

2.)Randall Stephenson is about the biggest nutjob highly questionable CEO of a major corporation you're ever likely to come across. Don't be surprised if he gets tapped by the next President (Republican or Democrat) to some position in Homeland Security Department. He's obsessed about controlling the content of the Internet. If it's not about nickel and diming customers like a toll road or restricting download access, no matter what tier you've paid, it's a desire to pry into customers' content. The guy is evil and creepy.
