It has never been Muddled, Romney is winning
by SkitheRockies

This thing has never been muddled. You press never have gotten it. In fact, Romney is not only Michigan's "Native Son" as you like to call him but America's "Native Son". At some point in time the people will have spoken and the press won't be able to muddle the facts.

It is time for a new America based on old America's values, of hard work, leadership, conservative government, family first, no taxation without representation, objective science vs. mother earth jibberish, seperation of church and state, end of foreign control over American energy needs, fair trade as part of free trade, an America that values education for it's citizens and stops handouts to those who willingly break America's laws.

America needs a government that works with industry to create an environment of technological advancement and limits taxation and unaccounted for spending. America needs to protect its borders and stop the American congress from abdicating its duties in favor of a socialist international conspiracy that this year hides under the guise of climate change while voting for wars abroad and then cuts support for the Americans that fight those wars or worse yet, calls those Americans traitors and murderers and puts them on trial for doing the job they were sent to do.

We need a President that will streamline and build America's intelligence gathering capacity and root out the Chinese and foreign spies that have embedded themselves into our government and twisted our intelligence capabilities against ourselves. We need a president like the winner of the Michigan Republican Primary. Someone who has won the vote of old and young, rich and poor, highly educated and partially educated, and someone who does not see color or gender but rather people who want to change washington into a working government.

Is it any surprise our current Congress has the lowest rating in history? Is it any surprise that democrats were handed the Congress in 2006 and rather than doing anything constructive they turned their attention to steroids in sports and trips to capitals of America's enemies? We need a Republican Congress working for a moderate Republican president working on a constructive agenda. We need Romney.

I want to know if it is possible for Mike Huckabee to form any two sentences without verbally man-bitch backhand slapping his arch-enemy Mitt Romney. Is anyone else just plain sick of hearing him whine about his empty pockets while he panders to the downtrodden and adds to the victimization complex of a certain demographic. A ray of hope and empowerment is what would encourage the suffering of the middle class, not commiseration. Mitt Romney is putting his own money where his mouth is and what the hell is wrong with that. He is successful and knows how to help others to be successful. His money should speak positively of him and not negatively as Huckabee keeps trying to do. What determines your level of personal commitment to serve Huck? Romney's money is not an indicator of his success, it is how he earned it. He is known for taking failing ventures and organizations and turning them completely around. Just one example: With the chaos that the 2002 Olympics was in, he stopped the finger-pointing and just rolled up his sleeves and solved it. Riddled with debt and scandal and just months from 9/11, he pulled off the most successful Olympic games ever. The event was running $379 million short of its revenue benchmarks. The Games were also damaged by allegations of bribery involving top officials, including then Salt Lake Olympic Committee. Romney was hired as the new president and CEO of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee. Romney revamped the organization's leadership and policies, reduced budgets and boosted fundraising. He also worked to ensure the safety of the Games following 9/11 by coordinating a $300 million security budget. Despite the initial fiscal shortfall, the Games ended up clearing a profit of $100 million, not counting the $224.5 million in security costs contributed by outside sources. Romney contributed $1 million to the Olympics, and donated the $825,000 salary he earned as CEO to charity.

Really? Personally-- and mind you, this is probably just me-- I want to know how many times you're going to puke the same canned message out onto the board.

It seems like so many of the candidates can stand and spew half-truths and rhetoric all day and the media just repeats what they say as if it were news. Romney stands and trumps them all with a untarnished personal, professional and political record and the big news will be that his zipper was down or that he spits when he talks. Why is this nation seem so cynical and jaded that they can't let a good candidate shine without trying to sling mud? Like Reagan, he changed his political position on abortion to better represent his constituents. His personal position on the issue has never changed. Seriously, what else is there that is not just hearsay?
