Would you eat cloned animal products?
by DrBillPhD
Who benefits from not labeling these products?

I feel like they should be labelled. I would only eat it if I were starving and there was absolutely no other choice.....

I heard last night on the radio that there was absolutely no difference. Science has been wrong in the past about what is safe. Money and profit is involved . I think they should be labeled but ...."oh for the good of the people" we will hear.

I worry more about Genetically modified organisms because it is more like opening Pandora's Box.

Last night they said something about healthy animal meaning I believe that in cloning some clones are are not normal.

Ick. No. I wouldn't eat them.

Unfortunately, the US govt.........YOUR govt.......says that you do not have the right to know which foods are genetically-engineered, and which ones are not.

Tampering with genes and DNA will just lead to mutated, scary shit.

You've been eating cloned food for years if you like tomato soup or other tomato products. The parts of the tomato for soups and sauces were cloned years ago and are produced by a process that is much like brewing beer.

Speaking of which; a lot of beer and other alcoholic products are made using the same cloning procedures for yeast etc. I know that spaghetti sauce is not the same as sirloin; but cloning is already here.

Not sure that I would want cloned KFC; but I can't find any good scientific reasons why right now.

I'll pass on cloned animals, unless they test that shit for years, and I don't know why they wouldn't label it.

I would not, and I don't understand why it is being pursued when it is so much more expensive to produce clones than it is just to breed the animals.

Just makes me more determined than ever to keep buying organic.
