What is the book about again?

I notice that in the article and in many of the posts it does not mention what the book(s) are about. The main description given is that the Lexicon's book is going to be an analsys on the HP Universe. Considering that many books are already out on that subject, and all have not been stopped or sued by Ms. Rowling it would seem odd that she would begin such an endever now. However, if the book were, to say, be based on their "encyclopedia" that they have on their site - a comprehensive database on the information in the books - would that not constitute an infringement? Would it not be, also, in direct competition with Ms Rowling's encyclopedia that she is working on including other information not included in the books? The answer to both is Yes. It is infringment and it would be in direct competition. The money to HPLexicon would be for personal gain (even if they promised to donate the money it would still have some personal gain for administrators of said money) and may include information that Ms Rowling has found on the site to be in contrast with the story and universe she has created.
The idea that she should lose this court battle because she doesn't want anyone else to use her characters is false as other books have been published - including but not limited to philosophy of Hogwarts, Unofficial guides and even Hogwarts school has appeared in other fictional childrens books as a place for higher education for Witches and Wizards. This is more of a battle for the HP Universe, its story and the rights to it than a battle for money and analogies.
