Rowling is out of control. What if all the fans quit looking at her contributiions because she won't let them discuss it. She would lose everything.

Who does she think she is? GOD! If she ever publishes another thing I will not buy it. I will not let my children buy it. She has let her success go to her head.

I hope that this fails in court just to teach her that she can not control what we think.

This is the kind of damage that is done when Slate writers don't get their facts straight but instead indulge in ideological rants. Innocent Harry Potter fans think one of their favorite author is a Death Eater who dabbles in dreams of though control. It simply isn't true. Those who think Rowling is out to stop discussion and commentary on Harry Potter are welcome to visit thousands upon thousands of fan sites on the web, read scores of books about Harry Potter that have been published, or simply engage in a stimulating conversation with a like-minded friend.
