I have not watched any of the new Slate video. This is because I read slate at work. I work in a small office and everyone is in everyone else's business. If i play a video, one of my coworkers and my boss have no choice but to listen to it. By the same token, if I want to read an article later in the day when I'm supposed to be working, I can't exactly watch a video without being obvious about it.

I start off my mornings by reading most articles from your website. It is so much better than the standard news you find on the major news websites. I will not be able to read anything on Slate anymore if it continues to all be on video.
