I am by far not a fan or defendant of the rich, but I do feel that Rowling is probably stuck between a rock and a hard place with legal issues. Remember she has publishers she has to answer to so there is a slight chance that her motivation has nothing to do with money. Secondly it may also be the way they approached the possibility of writing the book. Did they ask her for her opinion or did they just attempt to circumvent the whole process. Im sure Jo is flattered by everyones attempt to explain her world but she created it and she should be the one to explain it. Writing a review of a work and writing bold definitions of the work are two different things. Look at from her point of view. What if she decides to write another work on Harry, well she could be stuck with someone else's version of definitions of what the world is all about. Review her work if you must, but let her define it. She is an extraordinary writer and deserves the opportunity to do it first.
