I can simplify the entire matter of chosing a candidate for President.

Why not let the public elect them all. Make one the CEO and another Chairman of the Board. The rest would be directors ala a corporation.

Pay them astronomical salaries, give them a full line of special perks. Maybe one would rise to the top as cream in a bottle of milk.

Another thought is to abolish all politicians and let anarchy reign
