Kerry sinks Obama
by A155MM

In a dicey primary season an endorsement is usually welcome. Ten Krugerrands says Obama is trying to think of some way to spin Kerry's endorsement out into space.

Moderate Republicans have expressed a liking for Obama based on the alternatives; those votes just went away. Kerry represents a chew toy for more conservative Republicans and is exactly what Obama doesn't need as he tries to run a campaign that is balanced across party lines in a number of key states.

We need to start a pool as to how many time the two of them share the podium during the primaries; and how many times they share it if Obama is nominated.

This is one "swift boat attack" that may backfire, considering Kerry's own lack of credibility.

People might figure that if Kerry disapproves of Obama, then Obama probably has something going for him.

Considering the way Kerry torpedoed his own campaign in 2004, let it be hoped that he will give his endorsement to Hillary Clinton.

It might blow "Old Thunder Thighs" (Rush Limbaugh did get that one right) right out of the water.

Number one running straight, hot, and normal...Scratch one garbage scow.

Right now Obama feels the same as Hussein did when bin Laden said, "We are with you."

A155MM, Rob. Kerry is my middle daughter's neighbor, she says he and his wife Theresa are very active in their community. My daughter says, Massachusetts mandatory health insurance, (HBO)which carries fines for those who refuse to participate, is a disaster because people have to wait months to see a physician and the HBO's are refusing to pay the bills for many people with éong term serious illnesses.

My daughter/son-in-law both pay the max into Social Security and they fear they will never collect.

I agree with you that Kerry's endorsement of Obama will be a disaster for him.

Last night on "The Colbert Report", Stephen Colbert showed a clip of Kerry saying he endorsed Obama, and the screen then went to a black and white picture of Obama with the caption "He will be missed."

Colbert then said "I didn't agree with anything he stood for, but he did not deserve that."

Personally I believe that when Bush invited the Clintons to the White House in 2004 to be "honored", it was all part of a conspiracy to sink Kerry's campaign. An elected Kerry would have scuttled Hillary's White House bid in 2008, so the stage was set back then to to guarantee her the opportunity to rub in 2008.

Unfortunately for the Republicans, any one they do run will still be at a disadvantage because of Bush's "legacy", allowing the Democratic candidate a very good shot of capturing the Oval Office.

Hillary is very likely to be that front runner. Which would probably put her in the White House, and keep the nation polarized.

Just dirty poltics, as usual.

Knee pads in the Oval Offfice will no longer be optional. God help Old Thunder Thighs' male verson of Monica.

That boy will literally have a very "distasteful" job on his hands.

Listerine is not optional.
