I thought this article was excellent, informative (I had not heard of death threats against Senator Obama) and of course well written.

What concerns me is the emphasis on Race as an important reason to vote for Senator Obama. I am a woman and I will not vote for Hillary Clinton. I don't agree with her politics or her plans, whatever they may be., but the fact that she is a woman has nothing to do with my decision. I think neither gender nor race is a smart or legitimate reason for voting for anyone.

I'm tired of hearing "I'm the candidate for change" from so many of the people running for the position of president, with no mention of the specifics of what their ideas for change actually are! Senator Ron Paul is the only one who has told us what he thinks should be changed in our political system. He has made it clear what his stand is and what he would like to see changed. If ALL of the candidates were this candid it would give us an opportunity to discuss and think about what might happen if any one of these candidates succeed in being elected the next President of the United States, and it would help us to make a better informed decision.

He says the Pledge for every Senate session, proudly facing the flag. I think you have him confused with Keith Ellison a black Muslim who was swore into Congress with his hand on a Koran. Speaking of which, a Muslim-American has every right to hold office in Congress and use the Koran to be sworn in. After all, we wouldn't bar a Jew or an atheist or a Catholic from being sworn in how they chose. This sort of religious prejudice went out of style when Jack Kennedy ran for president.

How do you make such an important decision if you have no idea what the candidates plans are? Sen. Clintons plans are well laid out on her website. I am not saying don't vote for the candidate of your choice, but please, make an informed decision.
