I so disrespect crying on my time.

I have no problem with women, or men for that matter, crying. But please not on my time. Go home and cry.

If during the course of business you have to stop and cry and then regain your composure you are weak.

Imagine crying because of people not liking her enough to vote for her when she didn't cry because her husband didn't like her enough not to f*** around on her. What a joke.

Honestly, all the hate Republicans had for her husband, which I still can't figure out why, is going to be put on her and the mediocre conservatives will make her presidency a mediocre one like Bill's was thanks to his picadillos.

People for Hillary please pull your heads out of where the sun don't shine.

Making big news out of Hillary crying is a crock. Its' on the same level as the alleged "Howard Dean" scream in the last election. Absolutely insignificant. Hillary is plenty tough enough- to attack her for this is in my view sexist and absolutely besides the point. By the way I support Edwards and oppose Hillary- I don't think she is willing to "change" anything, but we shouldn't lower ourselves to the level of the pandering press and the bigots.

Sexist!?!

What a joke. I think her crying whether genuine or contrived is a soap opera play book move. And unlike Dean she is being lauded for her 2 second cry and mistated sentiments of the moment:

" I have so many opportunities for this country and I don't want us to fall back....sniff, sniff"

It is even alleged that this is why she won. Please, please someone tell people we are not a Banana Republic in need of alternating husband-wife presidential tag teams.

Why is everyone calling this crying??? She choked up. I didn't see a tear, I didn't see her swipe at her eyes, I didn't hear her cry.

George Bush gets misty handing out medals!

I frankly don't have a problem with her crying, but I would hardly call "choking up" and continue to talk through it "crying".

You're right!

I'd more accurately call it a moment of self pity (with the spectre of an 8 point electoral failure) that got misconstrued as an act derived from her deep seated belief in noblesse oblige by silly, middle aged, democratic women in NH (if you believe the idiotic pundits).

BTW, I hold no like for Bush as president but at least his misty eyes seem to be a more sincere expression of empathy for others and not for self. This despite the evident monetary avarice of him and his party and their gluttony in consumption our world's natural resources.

She probably didn't know the cameras were there either.

And women who voted for her just because it looked like everyone was picking on her should be ashamed of not being the strong women they insist they like.

You're kidding right? All these events have cameras and the candidates know it!

I am a middle aged NH democrat, and I didn't vote for her or Obama. I think of her episode like this....

She is exhausted, she is down in the polls and thus stressed and frustrated, a women asks her a very personal question and it catches her off guard.

If I had been working 18 hour days for the past week, a pat on the back might be enough to do it for me.

My informal poll of friends here in NH believe that the emotional episode had no impact on their vote. The media got more out of it than anyone, hungry as they are for any event to blow out of proportion.
