I remember he was covering the election debates in 2004 at a college and he asked the Bush crowd of students if they supported the war in Iraq and they all cheered and I waited for the next obvious question that never came to his feeble mind "How many of you plan to enlist and serve upon graduation?" Unless he couldn't bear the silence that would have followed?
