Nice article, but in the context of christmas, misses one more improbable event: where would Jesus' Y chromosome come from? Parthenogenesis is just a recycling of the mother's DNA.

The woman would have to be an XY female, which would make the string of coincidences even more unlikely.

Since Christians believe that Jesus is God's son (rather than a product of parthenogenesis) they would believe the Y chromosome came from (been created by) God. That is the whole point of the virgin birth story, isn't it?
