I'd be lying if I said I have never wasted time online watching ridiculous video, but the Slate V piece on the worst Christmas movies had me wondering how low my life had sunk. So, movies with a snowman and a gingerbread man as serial killers as main characters are two of the worst of the "Christmas" crap? Thanks for that analysis. And let's throw Miracle on 34th Street in there for good measure. Huh? Oh, yes, we all know what a clunker that was. As for including Christmas Vacation in there, I have a poignant holiday memory of sitting with four generations of my family watching the Griswalds and howling with laughter as we recognized a bit of ourselves in them.

It may be awhile before I watch another Slate V. Haven't I wasted enough time?
