A New Poem by Catnapping.

When Cheney Finally Dies

i will dance naked
in the streets,
three sheets
to the wind.

i will raise the flag,
and kiss the feet
of perfect strangers.
i will sing anthems.

praise be
to all that is holy.
the fugly,
motherduckling
sheet of piss
is dead!

I'll dance, too. A wild tango with the most progressive Democrat male I can find. Meanwhile, I really like the illustrations. Excellent work there.

I loathe Dick Cheney, too. But, I don't think it is a sign of good mental health to dream visions of anyone's death with glee.

I consider him a terrible person for his taking us into Iraq for the reasons he did, however I know he has grandbabies who love and adore him.

Envisioning his death in such base and vile terms speaks to an equally unstable mindset on the wisher of his demise.

iow's two wrongs never make a right.

i can live with it.

yeah. many people can..for they so loathe Cheney.my real problem here aside from a concern for someone who wishes death on others, is that cat has stalked me online for years. And she has stalked friends of mine from the Fray..so really that's my real beef with here..although, I do think her mindset bespeaks of general, cruel nature,as well. but again..no, I don't like Dick Cheney either.
One of my favourite poems is

is Wakoski's Dancing on the Grave of a Son of a Bitch. I posted it as an OPP earlier this year, and Ted posted it again not long ago.

<link>

Some sons-of-bitches deserve such a dance. I know of a couple, myself. And Dick Cheney certainly deserves the cemetery cha-cha.

Me, I'll wear red petticoats and a purple skirt. And bougainvillea in my hair.

There are deaths worthy of celebration. Hitler's was. And certainly bush's would be. Cheney, I have no problem with that.

And bobnolan/ci-inc (stink) /halitsky/nairobitrio and all its hydra-headed, malignant alter-nics. At least, that's what the real PFrayers are thinking, if my inbox is any indication.

On their demise from PFray, we shall all dance, indeed. Dance! Dance! Dance!

I wouldn't wish anyone dead , but I wouldn't mind this man going on trial for treason.

'and kiss the feet
of perfect stranges' - might want to hang on to that thought: liberalism is bringing it closer to reality at warped speed. I used to be a NEO-YO! (lib, dem) but as of Billyboy Clinton, et. seq., they have lost my vote forever, for anything. I watch $200/month in taxes on my retirement go back to Uncle Chump only to look that loss in its nannystate face by observing local, able-bodied men 1/3 my age who live on foodstamps, under HUD roofs, yet never seem to want for alcohol, tobacco products, or drugs. So from my perspective, I find the NEO-YO! version of socio-political America full of criminal stupidity, sloth, and is a prime enabler of our detractors and ememies - perfect strangers with feet. And quite frankly, I find it mentally sulled and spiritually vulgar to be cavalier about the death of anyone.

Well, Ted, I guess that would be my second choice. I'd dance for that, too -- but only if he gets convicted -- is there a death penalty for treason? ihope-ihope-ihope

To Ted

Cool. Because Cheney deserves it.

Now: because I won't dignify the bobmoron by responding to him directly, I will make the following statement to you, my friend.

Ted, you and I have been friends since my first post on this board. I think you are a remarkable human being - both on and off this board.

I respect and admire your poetry immensely. And, as you should certainly know, my remarks regarding Stix were never intended to include you.

Those remarks included only the two posters he and I both seem to despise equally.

I'm just posting this publicly to set the record straight.

Meanwhile, bobmoron continues to repost my comments. I should actually thank him for giving me so much more exposure than I might have acquired in that minor thread. In the ad biz, we consider any publicity good publicity.

Perhaps, he will top post this one also -- I hope so -- I don't mind anyone seeing it. I seldom say or post anything I wouldn't mind hearing on CNN or seeing in the NY Times.

Love ya, mean it, 'bye,

Angel

bobdolan claims he can out write and out think anyone on this board, and yet neither he nor stix were able to guess that Gullibletea was in fact me. Given that, his authority on what you might or not think of me is less than questionable. You're a buddy, Angel, and it's my guess you'll be one for awhile to come.

I believe we'll all have reason to dance very soon...

considering cheney's heart condition.

I'm sure Hitler had relatives who loved him and depended on him but that did not make his crimes against humanity any less nor lesson the fact that most of the known world wished him dead.

Should we tell I'll Be Lillith that your blog gets well over 800 views a day? Naw, why ruin her obvious ignorance in regards to your blog. It's much more fun watching her make a fool of herself.

Anything about Cheney... repulses.
by Lunesta
Agree. Much as I hate to, I have to agree with the Top Poster's politics; I have, for years. What I can not abide is what the tone of the 'poem' tells us about the 'mind' of the writer; it's frightening. There are legal ways to deal with people like Dick Cheney; hopefully and over time, Karma will come back to deal with him, and slam him right back against some wall. We needn't wish him dead ... although, I have to admit ... at times, one does yearn. Oh well, one more year of these criminal clowns to go and 2008 will be here, soon enough. What is so galling, to me, beyond all the horrendous political stuff of his, is his blatant hypocrisy and his (borderline illegal) exploitation of the system -- keeping the Halliburton stock under his wife's or daughter's name, pretending to have NO interest in Halliburton/Brown & Root contracts, while profiting, quarterly or monthly, from H's ill-gotten, crooked success and so on, WHILE continuing to "influence" (dictate to?) the DOD about Halilburton/Brown & Root contracts.
