If Mitt Romney is crafty and deceptive enough to initiate an anti-Mormon "push poll" to try to garner sympathy for being attacked for his religious beliefs, he must have asked Hitchens and Slate to malign him and the six million Mormons in America too. If Romney wants to be the victim of religious bigotry, Slate, MSN and Hitchens just gave it to him. I guess we need to add all three to the Romney camp.

For Slate and MSN to have run such a bigoted piece is unthinkable in a country that was built on the ideal of religious freedom.

Vote for whom you will as president, but don’t malign an entire religion or attack any candidate’s religious beliefs in the process.
