Mormonism a cult?
by anye

Your author made NO mention of the good the Mormon Church does. The relief funds, the volunteer work. And what do Mormons essentially believe in? They believe that we should follow the example of Jesus Christ and be kind, honest, chaste, loving, forgiving and giving. That is what the church leaders continually preach to their membership. Maybe in today's society, where there is immorality, pornography, child abuse, drug addiction, cheating, lying, stealing and killing, that WOULD be considered out of line.

I agree with you. I work with a couple and they are good citizens and people. I don't find it to be a cult. Some I know are mormons but don't practice it, some do.

Catholic, baptist, Lutheran, Mormon, Protestant, so what?! As long as your religion inspires men to do better in there lives.

I visited mormon.org and found some good old fashioned beliefs.
