I am new here and am unsure this is the place to ask, but it seemed like a good start.
A colleague recently passed and while pondering the effect his passing will have on his 12 year old boy, who was unfortunate enough to view the event, I put this thought to paper.
You are never nearer than when you are here and never farther than when you have gone. For it is now in my heart and in my mind that you reside so; may you always be near and never be far.
The lines came out so fluidly and unedited that I am apprehensive about posting them anywhere in fear they might be copyrighted and that I pulled them from the back of my mind after having read them somewhere.
I searched using Google and found nothing.
My question is, is there a more thorough search engine to check the above against literary works in print and perhaps not in print?
Your help is greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance, as I will be unable to check back here as often as I would like and might not be able to respond in kind.
