Does it even matter?
by bobnegi

All the argueing, finger pointing, and name calling that is going on here.

In theory: I take the bus to work, recycle, buy used furniture, cars and electronic. Shop at the local farmer's market. Live in an apartment, choose to have no kids.

the guy next door buys a hummer, has 6 kids, buys a new car every two years, keeps buying the biggest house he can afford. Builds a brand new, instead of buying an existing house, has a swimming pool. Always wants the latest shiney thing. A perfect lawn pumped full of weed killer and chemical fertilizers.

It will take the whole world thinking as one to make any changes. Everybody is concerned byt no one wants to see thier quality of life reduced, or a poor return to the shareholders.

I like global warming, you should come up to Edmonton, Canada. Our winters are almost bearable
