If you're African American, in regards to Romeny, it matters
by MoniQueMoniCat

I disagree on whether a president's religion matters. If you're African American, in regards to Romeny, it matters a GREAT DEAL, whether or not he's "quiet about it." Lest we forget the Klan operates "quietly." And as a woman, it matters a lot to me. Any president who wants to lead this country that believes in a doctrine where Jesus Christ is the brother of Lucificer and where dark skin is "the mark of Cain," is just simply anti-American. No matter how "quiet" he or she is about it. And there is no question if elected president, Romeny will be bringing his Mormon “book” and beliefs straight into the Whitehouse.

With all due respect to those who confuse Mormonism with Christianity, Mormonism is not a Christian religion. Mormonism is very clear on this:

MORMON DOCTRINE: HERE ARE JUST 2 OF THE HUNDREDS OF DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CHRISTIAN AND MORMONISM DOCTRINE: All the information below is not merely "opinion," and can easily be validated simply with a copy of the "book of mormon," the one the Romney holds dear to his heart, and of which he clearly intends to bring with him into the WHITE house.

1. Jesus and Lucifer are spirit-brothers.

Jesus was the first one born of heavenly parents, and Lucifer was a younger sibling. Jesus is referred to as Lucifer's, as well as our, elder brother in the pre-earth life (Ibid.; and Milton R. Hunter, The Gospel through the Ages, 15).

2. God curses certain individuals with dark skin.

The races are determined by how worthy individuals were prior to this mortal life. Blacks were not as faithful in their first estate. The Book of Mormon teaches that God cursed certain Israelite

American Indians with dark skin, and this was meant to keep them from interbreeding with their white brethren. This scripture also teaches that God blessed some who repented with white skin. Nothing concerning the revelation in 1978 to give "all worthy males members" the priesthood invalidates these beliefs (Fielding Smith, Doctrines of Salvation 1:61-7; McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, 527-8; Alma 3:6-9; 2 Ne. 5:21-4; and 3 Ne. 2:14-6).

MORMON RACIST DOCTRINE: <link>

Just because Mormons don't drink or smoke or cuss or any of those outward acts, doesn't make them Christian. Christian means much, much more than outwardly acts like that.

Maybe you should talk to Gladys Knight or Thurl Bailey about their Mormon beliefs. They are both African American and Mormon. I disagree with your biased agenda on Mormons. You are not objective and are taking these ideas out of the proper context. Mormons believe that God, initially, created everything. He is God! Satan rebelled and was disowned and thrown out of God's presence forever. Since God is the author of this universe, everything he created is related. How is that not logical. Do your research and do it to actually understand and then you can judge something properly.
