Liberals hate America so why would he honor the flag that represents America. He also refuses to wear a flag lapel pin.

It's funny to read through comments here and see just how far liberals will go to defend one of their own. At least one post went so far as to claim that the picture wasn't real. That guy's head must be about 98% bone because Osama..oops I mean Obama has admitted being there.

Obama is not stupid, so this means that he's either ignorant about the US Code of Conduct, or he has no respect for the flag and what it represents.

Okay everyone, it was America the Beautiful playing, NOT the National Anthem. A picture may be worth 1000 words but but this picture is worth crap. And I'm sorry but I didn't get the memo about it being a law to wear a lapel pin flag either. You should be happy that he's being honest enough to say he doesn't practice daily ritual lapel flag pinnings so 'why would I do it today and be fake?'.

Please tell me in your opinion which is more of an atrocity; not putting your hand over your heart during the playing of AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL or being the leader of our great nation who will detrimentally ruin our economy, send our country deeper into a deficit and sign bills into law that take away our constitutional rights of which this country was built upon?

Will your vote for the future of our country come down to which candidate put their hand over their heart or who will do the best job to improve the state of affairs for Americans?

But either way, your opinion, too, is your right as an American.

Hey, I am a liberal and I happen to love my country. I find it to be narrow-minded and silly that a person should be scrutinzed for not wearing a lapel pin, or saluting the way he is "supposed to". Why do you care so much about insignificant gestures? By the way, your "slip" (Osama) is a dead give-away of your ignorance.
