I just can't comprehend those of you who support Obama for refusing to hold his hand over his heart during the National anthem. I think every one of you need to wake up.

What he did was disgraced our flag, the same flag that drapes the coffins of our soldiers who have been killed in battle. To me he is disgracing our soldiers as well as the flag.

You say "What's the big deal?" Well, it is a big deal for me. If he can't honor our flag, then he can't represent it or even take the oath of office. If he IS a Muslim, how is he going to be sworn in?

Our flag has been through many wars and it was raised by our troops (some of whom died to get the flag raised) and every last one of them honored and respected our flag.

So the next time you want to encourage Obama, take a look at some of the pictures of our soldiers coming off a plane with the United States flag draped with the American flag, think to the freedoms that each soldier has fought and died for. Take a good look and thank God for the flag and those who died rendering service to that some flag.

I think if you support Obama, you all need to get out of this country, go where they don't have the freedom that our veterans have fought for. By the way, take Obama with you and serve him under his own flag.

You do have the right to get a passport, you do have the right tbuy a ticket, you do have the right to leave our great nation. Our troops have died for those rights as well.

well put. I would add that the flag is a symbol for what this nation is. to not respect and honor the flag is one and the same as not honoring this great nation. If you don't want to honor our flag, go find a flag you will honor...and stay there!

Do you think that our soldiers died so that you can tell someone who supports a different political candidate than you that they need to pack their bags and move out of their country? I think they died for freedom of political expression too.

From a retired military member, well said. If Mr. Obamba is a practicing Muslim how can he be President of a free country. The stated goal of all muslims is to convert or kill all unbelievers. If you don't believe me read the Koran, I have.

Good Lord, this is so ridiculous!!! Do you people even TRY to check facts before you make an assumption?? Sometimes Americans are just so damn naive. If you even made an attempt to find out anything about Obama, you would find that he has never been a Muslim. He's a Christian!! By the way, the flag is SUPPOSED to represent one nation under God, but we are not one nation, and certainly not under God when people can't even pray in schools anymore. Read a few newspapers from around the country and I'm sure you'll have no problem finding examples of what I'm talking about.

He has the freedom of religion . These freedoms have been faught for from the begining . Our soldiers will not leave our flag behind . They will die to retrieve it . Now you say it is not worthy of your salute . Ask yourself if you are worthy of these freedoms .
