Obama
by tttgraham

"Some conservative bloggers are furious..." was the first line of the article used to describe the indifference shown by Obama to the rules of etiquette regarding the National Anthem. I wonder if the conservative bloggers are the only ones offended? To say that a blogger is conservative based on their reaction to a presidential hopeful having no regard for the law regarding proper etiquette for the flag or for the United States is a bit of a stretch. Why even try to label the people that respond to this breach of conduct "conservative"? Am I conservative because of my stance on abortion, on drugs, on guns, on the death penalty or on war? Or am I conservative because I simply take a stand on these issues that differ from yours? Like many other Americans, I am offended at Obama's stark indifference to the symbols and to the heritage that once made this country great. I have been receiving this e-mail from many sources over the past two weeks, and it appears to me that Americans are offended. I have not forwarded it to anyone, because I already feel that the voters know what kind of leader he would make and there is no sense in kicking a man when he is down. Yet I am only one voice and the "conservative bloggers" they are few, so we do not make up a large contingent. So put it to a vote and I am certain that will be the true litmus test. The test if only a few "conservative bloggers" are offended or if you grossly underestimated the hearts of the citizens of the United States of America and their views on this matter as well. Thank you for your time.
