Gender Appeal or Gender Warfare
by young_faustus

It is a very bad idea to shield Hillary from criticism by making an issue of gender. I am confident that the majority of males in this country would not vote for her if this became a dominant issue. And, frankly, there is no way to triangulate that.

As women become more powerful in this country the nature of women's attitudes towards men will have to be addressed.

Too many women exhibit a severe double standard regarding male and female behavior. Their conception of themselves as men+ was irrelevant when the subjugation of women rendered them powerless. As women become more powerful expect to see more arguing for a prominent place in society because of essential virtues they presume to possess on the basis of their sex.

I have to say that this sounds like an awful version of gender stereotyping. This idea that there are essential characteristics of males and essential characteristics of females is totally bunk.

So relax, Women aren't out to get men.

My point is that Hillary is barely electable now because she is already so polarizing. By adding gender angst to the mix, she doesn't have a chance.
