Pakistan
by John Doe

It's not Bush and Condi's fault. They're just drawn that way. The artist in this case is our foreign policy.

We (the pentagon/cia/white house) has consistently relied on autocratic generals to do our dirty work, ignoring their misdeeds and made it easy to blame them for not being democratic when they were no longer convenient, pliable or fashionable. Argentina, Panama, Iraq, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and ofcourse Pakistan with Ayub Khan, Yahya Khan who killed a million bengalis, Zia-Ul-Haq who bought his nuke and missiles from China under our nose and now Musharraf (who the Pakis like to call Busharraf).

We need Musharraf to continue to do our bidding. Eliminating the Taliban is NOT in his country's interest (although it is in ours) and the sooner we realize he's leading us on, in this venture, the better.

We need to get our head out of the sand. (Sand = "They want to attack our way of life") and realize that we need to fix our foreign policy from coldwar thinking to get real results.
