Never having heard of Shapiro, I watched a couple of his clips. Not that filthy. Not that funny. Every bit as boring as Seinfeld and Larry David. It's hard to see how Shapiro is any less observational in his unfunniness than Seinfeld is in his. They just approach things from different unfunny perspective.
