These ads are just dumb!

I am in my late 40's and still smoke pot. I have never been arrested and have never been in any trouble for anything. I am married to the same woman for 23 years. I am responsible, employed, a professional, and live an active lifestyle. I don't hurt or bother anyone. Almost everyone I know smokes from time to time and they aren't losers either.

I, for one, am tired of all the negative crap that falls on me and people like me because they don't conform. Marijuana is easier on me than alcohol. I don't slur my speech and have trouble standing up and I don't throw up on everything and everyone. I don't get in fights or abuse my wife.

I AM NORMAL!

Pot smokers usually get busted for nothing more than the possession of the weed, while drinkers get busted for all kinds of atrocities including spousal abuse, fighting, and drinking while driving just to name a few. (I don't condone driving while under the influence of any intoxicant)

Let's point fingers where they need to be pointed and not at the hard working people in this country who are not criminals.

Alcohol is big money in this country. So does that give them a license to stay out of the media limelight? It seems so. I would like to see the commercial of a drunk, passed out in his own vomit in the kitchen floor while his bruised and battered wife hides in the basement.

I am ticked off so you will have to excuse me. I know that everyone who drinks is not bad nor are they drunks. But realize this; not all pot smokers are losers as portrayed by these ads.

Bottom line: Focus more time getting rid of the bad stuff like meth and heroin. Those are the REAL enemies of our society.

Pot smokers are usually laid back, friendly and happy and not necessarily dumb and lazy. Certainly not trouble makers! In my opinion, marijuana doesn't warrant the kind of publicity portrayed in these ads.

Right on, very true. I grew up in a house that was definitely negatively affected by alcohol and having had experience with both that and marijuana, I strongly agree that pot is a gentle relaxing drug whereas booze can bring about aggression, unease, and gnarley hangovers.

People should stop sinning by lying for control of our country, etc. I heard Crack is came from Satan, Fade away sinners without repentence if ur heart trully desires to do so, u'll be sorry when God releases his final wrath against all sinners who don't repent of their sins etc.

Billy Joel once said "It's better to laugh with the sinners then die with the saints... the sinners have much more fun, only the good die young" but that's worthless info in this post.

Well said im still in Grade school and i have toked for everyday of this summer and i never had the though of droping out or killing someone or hurting myself and your right were laid back and really friendly and instead of arguing about somthing pointless like this lets argue about somthing more dangerous and affective to us like alcohol but i dont care about that stuff my life is great and i smoke pot now lets spark this blunt!
