Try a recipe before you throw stones!
by ImRightUrWrong

Anyone who can write such silliness has never tried a recipe from either of the books. What can possibly be wrong with adding a puree fruit or veggie into food. You need to find a different soap box.

I change out any water or skim milk needed in a recipe for a puree, everything is better; and my husband, not child, who will not eat anything green, has no friggin clue what I do and raves about each thing I make, which he never did before. The man is not an idiot either, he's a physician who's just trapped in the mindset of a nine year old when it comes to veggies.

Also, to insist that you not only have not eaten the food but also didn't read a single page since you make a fool of yourself when you say they are neglecting to introduce the real foods they are hiding. WRONG. That is insisted upon in Jessica's book. She always suggests putting the real thing along side the food. NaNeNaNaDooDoo.

Also, if you want to sample some flavors before you invest your time and produce, try some recipes with some Stage 2 and 3 baby food, it's pure puree and the work is all done for you. I did mixed berries in a boxed muffin mix to replace the water called for and they were amazing. I know have a secret place in my kitchen that hides baby food fruits and veggies. Crazy, I know.

I completely agree and I also take alot of the idea's with the spinich juice or the puree's and add them to old recipes, they turn out great and no one knows any different. Even when my older kids found out that I was using some of the puree's they started eating them whole because they realized that they ate them and liked it already.
