Climate Change ?

Global warming may very well just be related to the fact that part of the world was in a mini ice age just ending in the 1850's (Western Europe). Therefore, perhaps we are now returning to a more normal period of climate. If so, some politicians and scientists have certainly produced a very successful and profitable "cottage industry" from the global warming issue.

Fact is, there are numerous predictions that we may well be on the verge of another, even more extreme mini ice age during the middle of this century.

One would think that they (the climatoligists promoting warming vs those promoting cooling) can't both be right.

It's all about the money folk's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it's all about the money, who do you think has more money - climate scientists (who are virtually unanimous on global warming) or the current energy and business community, which has a gigantic interest in denying global warming, and billions to throw into public relations campaigns to debunk the science. If we're going on conspiracy theories and money driving the debate, yor own argument defeats itself.

The reason global warming is becoming a big issue is that the facts are so compelling that even the richest, most powerful economic interests in the history of the world can't suppress reality forever, can't keep people from caring about what happens to their children.

Absolutely on the money, so to speak. This is one of the dangerous arguments being fronted out in the public eye, that some sneaky group of people is profiting from the global warming scare. I can assure you that every scientist involved would much rather there not be any such thing as global warming. The people making money are in energy, especially fossil fuel energy.
