Chicken Little, the sky is falling! Global Warming farse

Does anyone remember the story of Chicken Little who ran around crying the sky was falling based on one piece of isolated information?

When we isolate the 1000 pieces of information and read the consensus of the scientific community who are experts in very long range weather and the history of the earth, we find Global warming DUE TO manmade reasons is just pure emotional conjecture. It is likely normal (a regular occurrence every 1600 years) and due to activities of the Sun.

Remember these are about the same Chicken Little’s who 10 years ago were crying we are about to go into an ice age. Is it global warming or an ice age?

And if the earths temperature raises 5-10 degrees we can expect the Russians to be able to raise all the crops they need. Most of the world will become wet enough to be swampy (droughts are years with less than 20" of rain). The Tundra will become the worlds breadbasket for wheat and corn. There will be a trade route around Canada. The starving Africans, Mexicans, and Asians will be able to farm the deserts. New York City will be like the Holland and have dikes to keep the water out.

Why are we ignoring the scientific data pertinent to this issue only to listen to chicken little?

Oh did I forget we would almost eliminate the dependance on foreign oil for home heating and we could produce all the bio-desiel and alcohol fuels we want.

Less sunlight reflected into space means more sunlight for solar energy.

Could global warming be a benifit rather then a bane to mankind?

Turns out the sun instigator idea has bitten the dust with recent research and analysis. Not sure what you mean by pure emotional conjecture...there are thousands of research papers out there, peer reviewed, which, far from being emotional sniffles, are in fact straight and narrow science being done in the field. Your conclusion is the emotional conjecture, rather than that of the scientific community. The 1600 year cycle is from where? Yup, we're emerging from an ice age, but the recent rapid increase of Co2 isn't part of a natural cycle. The natural sinks like the oceans et al (including huge forest areas that are being cut down) are either disappearing or losing their ability to take in excess Co2. Etc. Etc. Your science needs some fine tuning, unless you are sciencephobic, in which case you are welcome to make your case through magic, intuition, or what have you.
