Al Gore lives in a 20,000 sq. ft. house, gets around in a Hummer stretch limo, and travels in a private jet. He does buy carbon credits, however, he buys those carbon credits from a company in which he is the CEO. And I'm supposed to listen to him about sacrifices?

Simple question; The earth has warmed .7 of a degree in the last one hundred years. Right? Could somebody please explain to me how anyone can notice? .7? Huh...

A rise of that magnitude is enough to cause things like the heating of the oceans (which keep heat for a very long time), change weather patterns, etc. Although you personally might not notice whether you ought to wear a sweater or not, the global weather is definitely affected. Hence the difference between weather and climate. Locally, areas might be balmy and nice, whereas other areas might get drought or floods as a result of the temperature shift. Your comment is born from ignorance. Try reading more than op-ed pieces. Go to actual science sites and educate yourself.
