Innocent until Proven Guilty

"Some, including investigative journalist Nadya Labi, document allegations that sexual abuse is widespread in Amish communities
and that state intervention is minimal. It all adds up to a degree of
widespread tolerated lawbreaking that would likely lead other Americans
to prison."
To put those two sentences together is to claim that the Amish are breaking the law.
They
have not been tried. Therefore, you cannot legally say they are
breaking the law, or that we are tolerating "lawbreaking". We are
innocent until proven guilty.
The above quote is libel and
it does not belong in any legitimate piece of reporting. It is
disgusting to badmouth the Amish and accuse them of being sexual
abusers without any proof let alone a court case convicting them as
such.
