What is your problem with that? Do you exist less well than ever? How is anything bad affecting you? Is it? Or, in fact, is it just that "some" are affected negatively, "somewhere"? Personally, I think ANY president has very little to do that will actually control our economy. I also don't think our President can or should have much of an affect on where a business elects to locate, how big they must be or how many employees they must keep or what the limit should be on what they pay their employees, but if you want the government to control all that, I certainly see why you want them to provide everyone with food, shelter, cloths, vehicles, insurance, child care, retirement, medical coverage, paid leave, vacations, college educations, spa days (our mental health is as important as our physical, right)?

Let me start with I run my own business...I pay my fair share of taxes. And I therefore know better than most how government affects business. Labor Dept, IRS, INS and State govt's on another level from someone punching a clock 40 hrs/week.

I could go on about health care costs, document process costs, and audits but I won't go into the horrifying detail...but let it suffice to say that nothing Bush has done has reduced govt interference in my business...it has increased actually.

All the Federal tax cuts were just passed on through the state level.

Attending yearly confrences it is confimred that new sources of revenew are drying up due to the outsourcing and offshoring going on. Bush not taking care of US buisness needs on the trade level.

9/11 sparked Bush's interests in Terrorism, up unitl that point Bush was shutting that conversation down. Both with the Anti-Terrorist specialists, and the Clinton administration.

If Bush paid atteniton and followed up the USS Cole things would have been different.

FBI concluded it was Osama Bin Forgotten's al-Qaeda March 2001.

2 months into Bush's administration...September 11 was only 6 months after the USS Cole.
