1 Bush, 2 Bush, red Bush, blue Bush

The terrorists are here and there!
The terrorists are everywhere!
They're on your street, they're in your car!
The terrorists are never far!
They're in your house, they're in your bed!
Why, sir, you have one on your head!

The must be killed, they must they must!
Before they blow us all to dust!
Round them up and lock them away!
They must not see the light of day!
Take the filthy Muslim horde,
Tie them to a waterboard!

If, perchance, we grab the wrong one,
We'll still make his stay a long one!
Compensation we'll not pay,
So we were wrong, so what the hey!
They looked like terrorists, that's for sure.
As we kicked in their front door.
They screamed and shrieked, they raised a fuss.
They had the nerve to question us.

In open society we can't beat ‘em.
Habeus protections? We don't need ‘em.
No right to counsel or a trial,
Just sit there naked on the tile.
Wait and wait and wait some more,
Sitting on that ice cold floor.
We'll decide when they can leave,
Don't even ask for a reprieve.
Innocent? That's their excuse?
That doesn't sound much like the truth.

They're brown and swarthy, with beady eyes
They worship Allah, they can't disguise
The beard and turban give them away
So they'll not see the light of day

We can't tell you this we won't tell you that,
No need to know, go feed your cat.
Or watch TV, or play kazoo
There's very little you can do.

Your safety isn't your concern
Will you subjects never learn?
We'll do it for you, never fear-o
Just trust King Dubya, America's hero.

He'll protect you, don't you fret
And don't you question government.
We know what's best, we're smarter than you
Could we get elected if that wasn't true?

So let us do what we think we must,
Would we abuse the public trust?
We keeping you safe, please appreciate
Stop asking questions you damn ingrate.

Shut up shut up, you anarchist
I've had enough and I'm getting pissed!
You're traitorous for asking me
About policies you've no need to see.

Never in a million years
Would we prey upon your fears
For profit or glory or personal gain
So just stop asking, I won't say it again.

Sleep tight sleep tight in your little bed
And don't you worry your little head.
You are safe, we will protect you
So the boogeyman can't get you.

where would we be without the ability to market it to the consumer? Now there is something we can cut back the spending upon.

I do not pretend to be a Poetry expert, but that is the best one I have seen.

I applaud you!

So comforting!

Ah! It's a good thing His Bushiness doesn't recognize the power of whimsical verse and rhyme! The most frightful of notions sound positively delightful. It's almost enough to make one forget that our government is spying on us, and torturing POWs (or "detainees" to be in the style of the times), and lying to us, etc., etc....
Madness/genius

It's funny how it sometimes seems the more disconnected from reality a person is, the more cleverly he can spin poetry.

Now, wait a minute, Mr. Snow, sir

I cant stomach that, sir

My brain cant twist, sir

With, sir, the gist, sir, of what you’re saying sir!

Well, then, sir, try this!

If a Bush battles in Iraq for WMDs

We call that a Bush-backed Iraq-attack

and if a Bush battles in Iraq while the US looses in Afganistan

that’s called a Bush-backed Iraq-attack ignore the Taliban

AND if a Bush battles in Iraq while the US looses in Afganistan AND rattles his saber against Iran

We call that a Bush-backed Iraq ignore the Taliban hope the Iranians don’t nuke us back-attack

AND…

Now, wait a minute Mr. Snow!

If a Bush doesn’t find WMDs and doesn’t find Bin Laden, sir

We call that a Bush-backed muddled duddled fuddled completely befuddled get out of Iraq and hunt, sir, the cunt, sir, who backed 9/11, sir!
