Clean up Factory Farms
by rathodsa

Hi all,

Look, that's crazy. the problem is factory farms, industrial slaughterhouses, and the unbelievable meat diet. finally, the problem is greed.

i'm not saying ban meat, but it is a filthy industry. Why do vegetables get contaminated? it's because of the water being contaminated with excrement from these sources.

There's a company called Synagro that fertilizes vegetables with human excrement. Ewwwww...

As a vegetarian, i have NEVER gotten sick eatting vegetables. However, i would never take my chances with MEAT. it's a decaying object.

You know that e-coli was found on lettuce and spinach, right?

Not on beef.

And that it can be pured from beef and not washed from lettuce or spinach, right?

Therefore, your whole post is idiotic.

And if meet is a decaying object, how the hell is plant matter not? Do you eat it while its still on the vine?

You are a moron.

Yes, plant and animal matter are both organic and both decay. Plants just decay a little slower because they have hard cell walls. Also, you're so disgusted by plants being fertilized with human feces? Do you know how the food chain works? Did you take 7th grade biology? Why do you think plants grow? Because nutrients in the soil are replenished by dead animals and FECES! It's not that important what animal the feces comes from, as long as it contains nutients like potassium and nitrogen. Human feces are traditionally not used for fertilizing because they can contain human diseases, but if properly screened and processed, there's no reason they can't be used.

Also, I understand that a big reason for recent plant-based E. Coli outbreaks is that migrant workers out in the fields aren't given proper bathroom privileges, so they just take a dump right out in the fields and then irrigation systems transfer the feces directly to the plant surfaces. Yum!

I live on a farm. I'm not disgusted by anything that happens with food.

I've walked around in horse pasture bare foot. Its part of why my immune system is so strong.
