don't just single out the humans!

I think we should also stop all other animals from killing and eating other animals. Imagine all of the animal suffering that could be prevented. I wonder what percentage of amimals are killed and eaten by humans vs. other non-human animals. Stopping the humans from eating meat can only dent the problem of animal consumption. We must take the struggle into the wild. I can't wait to go on safari and watch the lions chase a mechanized wildabeest coated in genetically engineered meat matrix. Oops I almost forgot though. Genetically engineered food is a no-no because it could somehow cause allergies. Oh well, I am sure the lions won't mind a tofu coated wildabeest.

^ Straw man of *epic* proportions

Not a whole lot of nuance in your thought process there, friend. Are you religious per chance, or just stupid?

maybe in an a world with (a diverse range of)* talking animals. not a chance in this one. and another thing geneticly enginered food is just cloned food, or a steak in a test tube. meanwhile good luck convincing the lion to go for tofu instead of the people on the safari

*side note: acording to evolution, we're animals too. face the facts.

By definition, not according to evolution

Homo sapiens, like all other mammals or primates, are members of the kigndom Animalia and therefore are animals. Even if our understaing of evolution were falsified tomorrow, and some previously unsuspected alternative mechanism identified which gave rise to observed biolodiversity, human beings would remain animals by definition.

Is "nuance" how you describe the BS used to cover over logic and sensibility? If so, then no - there isn't much "nuance" in my thought process.

Also, I am not religious nor stupid - and unlike yourself, I am also not obnoxious (i.e. my posts don't tend to contain personal insults in place of intelligent contribution).

The style of my post is called "sarcasm" in case you couldn't pick up on it.
