I think that online anonymity is very important as it allows one to surf the web or post messages without fear of retaliation. While I am not crazy about the service Anonymizer mentioned in the article I do like Ultimate Anonymity. They have been around for over 10 years and provide anonymity in addition to web surfing for literally every online protocol.

The website doesn't give any information as to how it anonymizes. Is one supposed to pay money to them and just trust that they'll do the right thing? This sounds like a recipe for disaster.
